  March 27, 2024--Congratulations are in order for High School North senior Carlos Estevez who, in a small ceremony at the school's Maria Ressa Auditorium this morning featuring his mom Danielle, Naval and ROTC personnel, and school leaders, received the Navy ROTC Scholarship worth a whopping $180,000.

It was a strong showing all around as usual; all of Intermediate South's competitors, for example, placed, which delighted (above, top row, left) science fair coordinator Jessica Kurtz, High School East STEAM Academy senior competitor Jack Chen (top row, right), and the Seminole science stars.

  March 11, 2024-- Tomorrow begins New Jersey GraduationProficiency Assessments (NJGPA) for juniors throughout the district. State-mandated testing isn't often students' idea of fun, and the preparation leading up to it can often be grueling, so some district leaders developed a way for kids to blow off some steam while at the same time, exercise their brain (and physical) power.
